First of all , Happy Women’s day to all the lovely and inspiring ladies out there. I am kicking off my birthday and also the one year blog anniversary of Dreaming Loud today (Pretty special huh!). I started DL during the end of Feb last year with much fear and hesitation. Since then, there were several pauses in between during the year due to several personal and professional reasons. It wasn’t until Aug’ 15, I started blogging regularly and maintained a routine. I don’t believe I am an year old blogger but I definitely found my niche during this few months.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for stopping by, reading my blabbering, sharing your love through comments (can’t tell you, how much I jump and call my friends and family for every comment and feedback I receive, you guys make my day) and to the most giving me hope to dream big. It tickles me when I see people other than my family and friends reading my blog 🙂 You guys are really the sweetest!
During the year, there were times (still are) when I lost myself in between blog and my job but words from my sweet friends and readers always motivate me and keep me moving towards my dreams. This space has thought me love and passion can be 2 different things. I love working on computers, developing applications (since my middle school) on the other hand my passion lies in everything glamorous and dreamy. I am a Piscean (a proud one!), I trust and believe in dreams even though sometimes I only do is dream.
Future of DL- I am always filled with ideas and wanting to write on varied topics on lifestyle but implementing them has been a true struggle for me in short time and with great quality. Spoiler alert, I am planning to start a 1 month get fit series in April which follows the mantra of eating healthy, thinking wise and working smart. There are several new things coming in your way, I hope you will love them and find them useful.
Coming to the outfit- I am a huge lover of everything vintage and ethnic. Spring is the best time to find some of the best vintage pieces- floral’s, stripes, overalls, oxfords and palazzo pants. New chic is one of the affordable stops for vintage and classic pieces. I listed some of my favorites in the collage below- everything is under $15
