but I care and choose what matters to me

Today, I don’t put my happiness in your hand
but I search my own
As I grew, I became a stubborn person

Today, I don’t forget easily
but I forgive easily
As I grew, I became a stubborn person

Today, I weep for every petty thing
but I never let by guard down
As I grew, I became a stubborn person

Today, I don’t treasure happiness in owning things
but I treasure it in giving
As I grew, I became a stubborn person

Today, I don’t wait for your help
but I help myself
As I grew, I became a stubborn person

Today, I am more restless
but I am not aimless
As I grew, I became a stubborn person
