I always prefer dresses but this Summer I am more inclined towards skirts. May be it’s the twirl effect that I don’t seem to get over. Ever since I bought the Jcrew dot skirt, I have been obsessed with skirts and to top that, the brands are killing it with amazing prints and colors. It’s safe to say that I have more skirts today than I ever had in my closet before. This colorful gingham skirt is definitely one of my favorites of the season, also it’s currently on sale guys.

I must say this was the most fun Photoshoot I had with Sasru. She always have been little Camera shy but this was different, she let herself be and boy! it was so much fun. I had real tough time choosing pics for the post.
For this outfit, I styled the skirt with both heels and sneakers to show how effortless it is to dress up and down with a switch of one accessory. Heels will always be my favorite but in practicality a cute flats will take over by the end of the day. A bright gingham print is rare to come by and that was the reason I was attracted to the skirt and the t-shirt just screams summer with beaded watermelons on them. It is such a beautiful and comfy tee made of pure cotton.
