Overalls have a fond place in my Fashion book. Ever since I was little, I was attracted to them. I had a khaki pair in middle school that I used to wear all the time since Cotton was always my first preference over denim.
As a short girl with a short torso, long legs, and big chest, I hesitate to wear overalls out since they make look short and fat even though I like them. Over the past year, I changed my focus from what I wear to how I wear..meaning going out of my comfort zone and wearing items that I hesitate (but within my boundaries) by concentrating more on blending them into my personal style, so I feel comfy and confident wearing them.

The Best fashion advice you can ever get is
whatever you choose to wear, the most important thing is to make it look your own!
Even though overalls make me look shorter and chubbier, I tried to move the focus of the outfit towards the accessories. The colorful shoes, printed tee, and the funky collar draw the attention to them rather than my height and weight.
Quirky Ways to Jazz up your H&M Overalls
- Printed crop tees– Easy to wear and instantly looks colorful. I included some options in the slider at the end of the post.
- Funky Bags– Different shape bags will add more fun to the outfit and draw all the attention.
- Unexpected Accessories– The collar in this outfit is very unexpected and looks like you have put together a lot of thought into the outfit.
- Fun Hair Accessories– Like wearing Bandana over the head makes your outfit even more laid back and instantly adds a cool factor.
