I know the word happy with Monday is just a metaphor (at least for me) but hey! let’s not ruin the fun of a new beginning (for the sake of it) and hope of not procrastinating and actually finishing the work, that was postponed from last week. I love midi skirts, they are so versatile and fun. Whether you have a desk job or on your feet all day, midi skirts are comfortable and easy to move in, especially if your legs are always freezing like mine.
On the other hand, stripes are always a favorite of mine in any season. However, I enjoy them wearing more in spring – first, you get lot of options to choose and second, they go beautifully with all spring colors and patterns like mustard’s, pastels and floral’s.
I feel saddle bags, and mid length dresses/skirts are one of the key pieces to pull a vintage chic look. This midi skirt especially is so comfy and beautiful, I wore it to a formal event last week with pink sweater and white pumps and got so many compliments. I am sure going to get a lot of usage out of it both now and in summer.
While looking high and low for a cute white saddle bag, I found some good options that will help you if you are on a hunt too- Number one will definitely be this Gucci soho cross body, I have a huge crush in it. I love both the beige and white color. 2) would definitely be this kate spade bag that comes with a similar tussle charm like Gucci but bigger in size and more than half the price. 3) this classy coach saddle bag, I had tough time deciding between kate spade and this one but my heart went for tussles :). 4) this preppy marc by marc jacobs saddle bag with fun contrasting sporty straps and lastly, this wallet friendly saddle bag , which is under $50.
Coming back to the outfit- I finished my look by adding this ultra comfy heel lace-ups (under $90) and all time favorites retro illesteva sunglasses
