I am so excited to share what I bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This is seriously the best clothing sale of the year. If you are a regular shopper at Nordstrom, you know that they offer quality and trendy clothing plus they carry several couture designs and brands like Madewell, J.Crew, Vince Camuto, Free people, Boden, and Cece to name a few.
I am thrilled to share my favorites because I have never splurged SO much on a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before. Everything is amazing in this sale. This is literally, the best sale they have put together so far.
This year, I focused on things I don’t have enough in my closet. I looked for more workwear pieces. You will notice more blouses, some trousers, and jeans that are not ripped and good enough to wear it to work on casual Fridays.
I Included a video below of (almost) every outfit to give you an impression of looking at every item in LIVE. I am afraid a lot of these things are going to sell out fast during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So, if you like any GET IT. You can always return them if they don’t work out (Nordstrom offers free shipping and returns) for you. Also if something you like is sold out, check on them regularly, they come back in stock as people return them.

Cece polka dot collar blouse

Cece is one of my favorite brands to buy chic blouses for work. Their collection is filled with easy wear with feminine details. I love the collar detailing on this blouse and moreover, I don’t have a lot of black blouses.
Sizing: It is true to size. I am wearing my regular size XS. The length is ideal to wear untucked with pants.
Treasure & Bond Check Trousers

My search for good narrow check trousers ended with these ones. I love these pants, they are comfortable, fit nicely through the waist and hip. I would recommend these pants as an alternative to basic neutral pants since they go well pretty much with every color top.
Sizing: They fit true to size. I am usually 2 Regular in trousers, in these, I am 26.
They are currently showing as sold out but keep checking back, they might come back in stock if someone returns it. I bought these like that. When I checked initially they were sold out but found them in stock after a day.
Halogen Hem Dress

I usually stay away from shift dresses because I have hips, but I ordered this anyway because I love Halogen brand by Nordstrom. I don’t think I have ever returned anything I bought from Halogen. The fabric is top-notch and very well made
Sizing: Halogen runs little large, size down. I am usually S in dresses and I bought XS.
Faux Fur Teddy Coat

I’ve been obsessed with teddy coats, ever since I bought my first one last year. I love love this teddy coat, It’s so soft and not too bulky. The color is perfect for fall and winter.
Sizing: Size down, teddy coats usually run large. I am wearing an XS

I shared my love for wit & wisdom jeans many times on the blog. They are well made affordable jeans. I have only one bootcut jeans, that hardly fit me anymore. These pants are perfect to wear to work with a blazer or chic blouses.
Sizing: Runs large. I could have sized down to 0 Regular. They are also available in petite sizes which I didn’t check when I bought them. I might exchange them for a petite 0/2

I am obsessed with this blouse. The ruffled sleeve has my heart. I bought them in 2 different styles since I couldn’t decide which one to pick. I love the cropped length, they look great with high/mid waisted jeans and formal skirts.
Sizing: The sizing is off between different style. I am wearing an XS in both pink and floral shirt but the pink color is a little snug compared to the floral. Also, there is a little extra gap in between the buttons, I had to use a safety-pin in order to avoid that. But that’s normal with most of the button-down shirts. I usually use a double-sided fashion tape or stitch a hook in between the button.
Cole Han Bow Pumps

These pumps are a pretty look-alike of Salvatore Ferragamo bow pumps. I love the bow detailing and the small heel makes it easy to wear every day. They also come in nude and navy.

These jeans feel like butter on my skin. They are very soft and fits like a dream

Cece Floral Shirt

Oh! I love so many Cece tops that are on sale. This one is definitely my favorite of all. The one I am wearing is my friend Lakki’s shirt, I ordered mine in small yesterday after trying hers.
Sizing: I usually size up in shirts. If you do the same then it’s true to size or else size up.
J. Crew Dover Blazer

J.crew makes excellent blazers. This blazer also comes in grey, black, and navy.
Sizing: True to size. I bought my regular size 4

I bought both these items from 2016 Nordstrom Anniversary sale. Vince Camuto has a similar blouse on sale right now and the Cece skirt on sale is exactly the same.
Sizing: Size up on the blouse. The skirt is true to size.
