There is a no doubt that the season’s It jacket is Shearling. The fur-lined suede or leather jacket instantly looks stylish, luxuriously laid back, and not to forget extremely warm. Personally, I am a huge fan of jackets that make a statement. Jackets that don’t need much effort to put together or style. A basic tee or sweater will look effortlessly chic and stylish.
Tips to Style Shearling Jackets
1. The silhouette is more on the bulkier side, so it’s best to keep your bottoms sleek in skinny jeans or leggings.
2. Turtle or round neck sweaters look great with shearling jackets because of the plunging v neckline and bulkiness, the fitted turtleneck sweater will give a polished and pulled together look plus will keep your neck warm.
3. Wear it with leather- Mixing 2 luxurious styles suede and leather will give a high street fashionista look. I like this faux leather skirt with a zipper detailing.
4. Shearling jackets are very warm by itself but you are looking to add more layers. Wear it with a fitted blazer. Blazer will give a structure to your outfit. A printed/ plaid blazer like this one here and here will be a good option.
