Birthday Photoshoot Dress
Let’s start with one of the first birthday dresses she wore on her birthday. I knew I didn’t want the usual pink. I was looking for something soft and dreamy that would go with the wildflower decor. After a week of searching, I found this beautiful apricot dress on Etsy and instantly fell in love with it.
The tulle is so pretty and lightweight, with lots of flare and a beautiful pearl neckline. The soft lining inside makes it super comfortable, and she was running around so happily in it. It was absolutely perfect on her. 🌸✨ Highly recommend this dress.
The dress also came with a matching headband and is available in three colors. I’d personally recommend this apricot shade, it’s so pretty on brown skin and feels really unique.

Her birthday pajamas were the cutest! I put her in them the night before and hung a few balloons on her crib. When she woke up, she was so excited to see the balloons; she played with them all day, carrying them around the house.
The pajamas were absolutely darling, featuring a tiny “1” cupcake, ruffle-trimmed sleeves, a neckline, and covered feet, so cute and festive for her special day.

For the cake smash, I didn’t want to spend too much since the dress could get stained. I found this beautiful dress with butterfly wings on Amazon. It looked beautiful with the wildflower backdrop. The tulle wasn’t as flowy as her birthday dress, but it was still charming and perfect for the cake smash.

Birthday Party Dress
This dress would be perfect if you’re planning a mermaid-themed birthday 🧜♀️✨. I absolutely loved the beautiful layers of tulle-it adds such a dreamy, flowy look. The colors are so soft and pretty, and they look especially adorable on little girls.
It’s one of those dresses that instantly stands out in photos and makes the whole setup feel a little more magical.
Birthday Pattu Langa
My kids’ first birthdays feel incomplete without a traditional wear. She wore this beautiful pattu langa on the morning of her birthday for a little while, and it was so special to see her in it. This was the first Pattu Langa I got for her that came with a tulle inset.
That said, it’s not the most practical for car seats, so wearing it to the temple didn’t really work for us. I think these outfits are best suited for traditional gatherings or photoshoots.
In the future, instead of getting the langa with built-in tulle, I’m planning to buy a separate tulle insert skirt and layer it, which gives the same look but with more flexibility.
